Meggitt offers a variety of benefits to help you protect your health, your family, and your way of life.  Your benefits are a valuable part of your total compensation package and Meggitt offers several choices from which to choose.   The following is a quick summary that highlights key features open to you in the UK.    Please note that some benefits are contributory and others are provided by the Company depending on the level of employment status.

Defined Contribution Pension Plan.
The UK Group  scheme is provided by the Legal and General and is normally paid by Salary Sacrifice to increase the value of the  contribution.  The minimum employee contribution is 3% with a 5% matching employer contribution, the employer contribution is capped at 8%    Employees may join the scheme from date of entry.

Company provided life insurance
Life assurance at  three times salary is provided  when employees join   the Defined Contribution Pension Plan.  

Company provided employee assistance programs (EAP)
The UK  EAP scheme is provided by First Assist for The service provides:

Meggitt Share Save and Share incentive plans.

Employee shares are a way of enabling staff to become stakeholders of the Meggitt group, by owning a part of it! 

Share save  (SAYE)

  • Employees contribute up to £250 a month to one or more SAYE accounts. At the end of the savings period employees are able to exercise an option to purchase Meggitt shares at a discounted rate 

Two elements to the Share incentive plans. 

  • Free shares offered to employees (Free of charge) annually depending on service eligibility
  • Partnership shares are  purchased monthly on the stock market for participants electing to contribute (purchased from pre-tax salary) depending on service eligibility.

Contributory Dental and Health Plans
Meggitt offers contributory Health care and Dental schemes at advantageous rates.
